ABOUT MUAY THAI BIBLE

Muay Thai Bible is a free, comprehensive encyclopedia dedicated to preserving and sharing knowledge about the ancient Thai martial art known as “The Art of Eight Limbs.” Our mission is to create the most extensive, accurate, and accessible Muay Thai resource on the internet.

This project was born from a deep love for Muay Thai and a recognition that comprehensive, well-organized information about the art is difficult to find online. Too much knowledge exists only in the minds of aging trainers, in the traditions of Thai camps, and in scattered forum posts. Muay Thai Bible aims to collect, organize, and present this knowledge in a way that honors the art while making it accessible to practitioners worldwide.

WHAT WE COVER

  • →Detailed technique breakdowns for all Muay Thai strikes, clinch work, footwork, and defense
  • →Structured training programs for beginners through advanced competitors
  • →The rich history and cultural traditions of Muay Thai in Thailand
  • →Profiles of the legendary fighters who shaped the sport
  • →A comprehensive Thai-English glossary of Muay Thai terminology
  • →Equipment buying guides and reviews
  • →Evidence-based nutrition and conditioning information for fighters
  • →Rules, scoring, and competition preparation

OUR APPROACH

We strive for accuracy above all else. Our technique descriptions reflect the traditional Thai approach to Muay Thai as practiced in the stadiums and camps of Thailand. We draw from the teachings of experienced Thai trainers, the observations of dedicated practitioners and journalists, and the documented history of the sport. Where modern sports science offers evidence-based improvements — particularly in conditioning, nutrition, and recovery — we incorporate that knowledge while respecting the traditional foundations.

Muay Thai Bible is and will always be free. We believe that knowledge about this beautiful art should be accessible to everyone, from the aspiring fighter in a rural Thai gym to the hobbyist training in a Western city. If this resource has helped you in your Muay Thai journey, the best way to support us is to share it with fellow practitioners.
